Digital Design & Manufacturing Technology

Course Overview

This course is designed for roles in Digital Design & Manufacturing Technology, digital mechanical product design, digital manufacturing process design and verification, digital equipment operation, intelligent production line on-site control, and product quality inspection and control. It develops skilled technical personnel with integrated capabilities in product digital design, process simulation and verification, digital manufacturing, production line control, and quality inspection.

Built on systematic digital design theory and practical process simulation skills, the course focuses on coordinated control of intelligent production lines. It aims to develop a new generation of digital manufacturing technicians who understand design, use simulation tools, complete manufacturing tasks, and manage production processes effectively.

Workplace safety is emphasized throughout the course. Learners develop the awareness and ability to follow health and safety requirements in production environments. Covers 3D modeling of mechanical products, virtual assembly processes, motion simulation analysis, and engineering drawing generation.
Learners use mainstream 3D CAD software for part modeling, component assembly, and motion simulation, and learn the workflow and key techniques of digital prototype design.
Product Reverse Design
Covers 3D point cloud data acquisition, point cloud data processing and analysis and processing, product reverse design workflows, and fundamentals of finite element mechanical analysis.
Learners study the complete reverse design process from physical scanning to digital model reconstruction and develop capability in product innovation design.
Digital Manufacturing Process Design
Covers machining process planning methods, CAPP process planning, PLM product data management, and process card preparation.
Learners use CAPP software for digital process design and build capability in process data management and product data management.
Digital Production Line Simulation Technology
Covers virtual simulation workflows for digital manufacturing, product machining process parameter setup, digital production line configuration and optimization, dynamic simulation, and process adjustment.
Learners complete production line simulation and process verification in a virtual environment, supporting full-process digital manufacturing simulation.
CNC Programming and Part Machining
Covers CNC machining process design for parts, CNC program preparation, computer-aided programming methods, and CNC machine tool operation.
